Each app has base resources assigned to it based on average usage by users over the past years.

For example the Ubuntu 20.04 app has 6GB of RAM assigned to it.

When you purchase a plan with a higher resource multiplier, those resources are increased for each app.

For example if you purchased an AB-1000 which has a 1x resource multiplier, using the example above your Ubuntu 20.04 would be assigned 6GB of RAM.

However if you purchased an AB-8000 which as a 2x resource multiplier, the Ubuntu 20.04 app would be assigned 12GB of RAM (6GB of RAM multiplied by 2).

You can view the current resource multiplier for each app on it's Installed app page, which you can get to via the https://www.appbox.co/appboxmanager/appboxes link.
